In a solemn and heartfelt visit, Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed Omodu Kamara, fondly known as Jagaban, traveled to his hometown of Blama to sign the Book of Condolence for the late Hon. Musa Peter Moigua. His presence offered comfort to the grieving Moigua family, reaffirming his deep connection to the community and its people. The elder brother of the deceased, Elder Abu Moigua, warmly received Jagaban and expressed deep gratitude, stating, “This visit is not just an act of sympathy, but a testament to Jagaban’s unwavering bond with his roots. He has proven himself a true son of the soil.”

Speaking on behalf of the newly elected Paramount Chief, Her Royal Highness Chief Amie Miatta Myers Benya VI of Blama, Chief Ishemel M.S. Koroma also extended appreciation to Jagaban for his compassion and presence. “When he called and said, ‘Chief, I am coming to sign the Book of Condolence,’ I replied, ‘Yes, our son, you are always welcome.’ His love for tradition, family, and community continues to inspire us. Let us keep him in our prayers for divine guidance and success in his political journey.”

The visit also offered a moment to reflect on Jagaban’s ongoing support for education in Blama and across the country. Several students had approached him with concerns about tuition support. In response, Jagaban assured the community that he would take the matter to the Executive, promising that something tangible would be done to support youth education. His pledge was met with gratitude and renewed hope among young people.

Mr. Kotor, the APC young congress leader and youth representative from Blama, confirmed that a productive meeting had taken place with Jagaban concerning the transparent disbursement of student assistance funds. He emphasized Jagaban’s commitment to ensuring that all resources reach the rightful beneficiaries. This declaration was met with enthusiastic applause from the gathering, a reflection of the community’s faith in Jagaban’s leadership and sincerity.

Addressing the gathering with humility, Jagaban said, “I am here today not as a politician, but as family. The loss of our brother, Hon. Musa Peter Moigua, is deeply painful. But we take solace in the will of Almighty God. We are all travelers on this earth, and one day, we shall return to our final resting place. Let us support one another and keep our faith strong.” In closing, Elder Abu Moigua once again offered heartfelt thanks on behalf of the family, praying for God’s continued protection and elevation of Jagaban in all his endeavors
