Jagaban Advances Sierra Leone’s Industrial Future with High-Level Uniocan Engagement

The leading flagbearer aspirant for the All Peoples Congress (APC), Sheikh Alhaji Chief Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, popularly known as Jagaban, continued his impactful international engagements with a productive visit to the Uniocan Company, the renowned firm currently constructing the two state-of-the-art Jagaban Blama ferries for Sierra Leone.
During the visit, Jagaban and his delegation received an in-depth technical presentation showcasing the progress, capacity, and advanced engineering of the ferries. The session also highlighted modern infrastructure models, cutting-edge designs, and high-level operational systems that promise to greatly enhance transportation efficiency once the vessels are completed.
The company’s lead engineer, Ms. Solva, guided Jagaban through the presentation and provided insight into Uniocan’s long-standing history. Founded in 1951 as a state enterprise, Uniocan has grown into a major industry leader specializing in culvert construction, highways, bridges, and railway infrastructure.
